DS Containers has named Mike Mikus as Manager of Quality Systems. He reports to Matt Kuehn, Director of Technical Services. Mikus comes from Scholle Corp., where he was Operations Manager, and also brings 15 years of canmaking experience with Continental Can and U.S. Can.

Zotos has named Nathan Vo as Associate Interactive Communications/Marketing Manager. He previously worked for Mattel for seven years, as well as Insync Media and User Technology Associates.

Owens-Illinois, Inc. (OI) announces that Abbott Wolfe has been named VP Sales & Marketing for O-I North America. Previously, he was Chief Sales Officer at Pabst Brewing Co. as well as serving in a variety of senior leadership roles at Constellation Brands, Inc.

Account Manager Alexis Broca has been assigned to drom fragrances in Paris, where he will provide support and develop new accounts in France and abroad. He has completed several marketing internships at Givaudan and worked as Assistant Brand Manager for L'Oréal in the U.S.

Jens Kuerten took over the function of Director Corporate Communication & Marketing with Gerresheimer AG. His predecessor, Burkhard Lingenberg, retired after 36 years with the company. Mr. Kuerten reports to the Gerresheimer CEO Dr. Axel Herberg.

TricorBraun has named Executive VP George Dempsey COO. He has assumed responsibility for the firm's Design & Engineering Dept. as well as its Marketing Department. Mark Shepherd was appointed Executive VP and will continue his leadership of TricorBraun's Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, TX regions and will assume responsibility for additional regions in the western U.S. He had been a regional VP prior to this appointment.

Jacques Delmoitiez , currently President of BASF's Polyurethanes division in Brussels, Belgium, will become President of BASF's regional division Europe, located in Ludwigshafen, Germany, effective Oct. 1, 2010. The current President, Dr. Walter Seufert is retiring. Wayne Smith, currently President of BASF's Catalysts division located in Iselin, NJ, will take over responsibilities for the Polyurethanes division as of Sept. 1, 2010. Frank Bozich will become head of the Catalysts division.
